I also toyed with the same idea when the RAM and SSD shortage popped up. However, in this specific case, it doesn’t look so — because printed circuit boards go every bloody where, including the braindead terminal-like things you’d need to have to access someone else’s computer “the cloud”.

It’s on purpose until we are forced to rely on cloud PC and owning our own computers becomes illegal.

Bandwidth also will become more expensive because all internet infra is also dependent on this stuff
