    that’s why they removed it, probably. denuvo only keeps that stuff on as long as nobody has breached it.

    iirc there are only a few people who actually know how to do it, too.

      It’s not Denuvo, it’s the developer/publisher.

      They pay a monthly fee ~$25,000 and $0.50 per game activation.

      Developers/publishers only use Denuvo briefly to avoid day 1 piracy being possible (even though I hear it now is) and they drop it after a few months given the crazy cost of Denuvo.

  Denovo is so fucked, I think we will still see some games releasing with it due to existing contracts, but apparently the Hypervisor bypass is working on Linux now with much less effort and none of the original security concerns. If you are a pirate Democrat is now but a minor inconvenience.
