- Comment on I love my Steam Machine but there's lots of work Valve need to do 3 days ago:
100% agree. This would have been a great way for console lovers to get in on pc gaming.
But bc of wildly gestures at EVERYTHING this will be a collector’s item for people who are already into the Valve ecosystem.

- Comment on Valve give Steam Wishlist and Steam Gifts a major needed upgrade 1 week ago:
“Valve added custom categories that you can sort games into. So if you want you can make a birthday list, or a list for someone else, and you can quickly add games to specific lists from Steam store pages. You can even share links to specific categories of your wishlist to send to other people.”
Steam gifting: buyers don’t need Steam accounts, they can also just send links to the gifts through email, etc. Cross region gifting calculates the cost in the gifted region when you buy it.

So, not into the ground" but more “back to 1993?” It seems he’s trying to reframe nicely but they lost a ton of people to corporate greed and he should fail against that, advocate for unions, etc. rather than downplay this disgusting round of layoffs.

- Comment on Valve is so behind on Steam Controller orders that some won’t ship until 2027 1 month ago:
Neat! I’ll have to look into that. I know that it would work without some of the features but they’re kind of the selling point of the controller.

It’s an amazing pc controller. The motion contols, touch pads, joysticks, and haptics are all amazing.
The only downside it the steam requirement.

I don’t see why they would expect that. I’m sure there were people not paying attention but this game is niche af. It’s cool for what it’s doing (other than wasting the IP’s potential) but I don’t actually know a single person that wants this.
