    Starting with those games noted above they're providing an interactive 3D scan of its real, physical box art. They also announced a collaboration with Big Box Collection - a solo passion project dedicated to preserving things like box art and so now GOG will also provide flat printable versions of the same box art so you can print it out and make your own boxes.

    That's pretty cool. I like the idea of being able to make my own box based on original box art. Wish they'd hurry up with that Linux client. My support comes as soon as they deliver on that.

      Each digital box scales with hours played. Or perhaps inversely? so your least played would be emphasised.

    3D in the sense of applying 2D scans to the surface of a rectangular prism, or 3D in the sense of handling things like bump-mapped embossing or strangely-shaped boxes?
