[controller] Argh just need to vent

I have been in the waitlist for the Steam controller since the day it was announced.

I am currently travelling in Europe, and just saw an email dated 12th Sept saying I had 3 days to complete my purchase.
it is still the 15th where I am, but my reservation has expired, presumably because it is no longer within the 3 days as per AEST.

Fuck fuck fuck fuck

I couldn’t complete, so had to cancel and submit a new reservation request. Now it will be 2027 before I get another chance. And based on last wait time/shitty Australian supply, that will be December 2027.

Fuck.

I’ve seen some similar situations where Steam support made an exception and reactivated the reservation after a support request.

Email Valve customer service and let them know what happened, it’s possible they may be willing to help out.
