Good luck. I could have sworn the “vault” never actually existed and they just outright deleted all that content.
I’ll be the first one to say I’m wrong if they actually do bring it back though.

It’s kinda tough to actually delete stuff in any modern software house, by default you get multiple copies of everything everywhere without having to try (decentralised source & asset control), and then there are usually intentional backups on top of all that.
There’s also basically no benefit to deleting stuff, there’s not really much cost to be saved, and you never know if you’re going to want something again.
The only thing here is potential incompatibilities with stuff currently in the game and what’s been removed, but unless there’s some technical limits they’ve been pushing up against, it should be relatively straightforward to work on resolving those

The “we hear you we’re not just listening” song and dance again?
OK but daddy Sony just laid off nearly all the talent, so how is this even going to be remotely possible?

Seeing Xbox and Sony consistently failing miserably makes me wonder how does Nintendo get away with it. I mean, Valve behaves very nicely but Nintendo? How do they pull it off?

I think having consistent IPs since people’s childhood really helps keep their image afloat. Anyone who pays attention knows that they treat consumers like crap, but if you are very casual they seem to just put out good quality consistently, and because they are so tame overall, children of all ages are constantly starting out on Nintendo consoles.
