No i didnt mean to imply it has logging on by default. I ment that when you enable logging it seems to include this information by default.
- Comment on Oh dear - ARC Raiders was logging your private Discord chats 1 week ago:
This was only happening when users linked their discord accounts to arc raiders. According to the arc raiders this info was in the enabled logging by default from the discord social SDK
- Comment on Should I buy a used Steam Deck for Forza Horizon 5 and potentially FH6? 1 week ago:
Ive played forza 4 on it and its playable but if its docked and in 1080p it won’t be a good experience. Idk if my standards are to high from years of PC gaming. You won’t get 60fps.
If you want to play forza take a look at the legion go S if you can find one for cheap
- Comment on EA Javelin Anticheat job listing mentions future support for Linux and Proton 1 week ago:
Huge if it actually comes through. This could move some of my friends over for battlefield and sports games.
- Comment on Days after cancelling their Linux-compatible mod loader, Nexus Mods announces that they're bringing SteamOS support to Vortex 1 month ago:
Recently I got a decent sized skyrim modpack running as easy as on windows using jackify( an install wrapper for wabbajack). It was actually amazing how simple it was. I thought it was going to be the final boss of linux modding.

Because i already have squad and the games are 1hr which is manageable. I cannot manage 7hr arms games
- Comment on Steam Replay is out, share your deck stats 2 months ago:
How can they do a 2025 review when its still 2025? These reviews are getting earlier and earlier. Its becoming like the 2k games where you are buying 2k26 in the middle of 2025.

- Comment on [news] [gw1] Guild Wars: Reforged is going to be Steam Deck verified and has support for modern controllers 3 months ago:
Yes, there is still an active 1k players on. You probably wont find anyone on the low or mid level content but when you get to end game there is a lot of people to do the group content with.
- Comment on [news] [gw1] Guild Wars: Reforged is going to be Steam Deck verified and has support for modern controllers 3 months ago:
Its still 120 ping and feels bad for PvP or interupt/prot
- Comment on [news] [gw1] Guild Wars: Reforged is going to be Steam Deck verified and has support for modern controllers 3 months ago:
My friends are excited and want to do a play through for the first time. I was super hyped but i realised it doesnt add or change anything. I really need AU servers to enjoy the game again. High ping just sucks so badly in gw1.
- Comment on Guild Wars Reforged announced to release in December and will be Steam Deck Verified 3 months ago:
This got me so excited because i thought the game was being remastered or reignited. I’m happy they are making steamdeck based improvements because its a great steamdeck mmo. But most of the stuff I already had through gwtoolbox so i appreciate the gesture of support.
- Comment on [Meta] This community has been renamed to Steam Hardware to include the newly annouced Steam Machine and Steam Frame 3 months ago:
Yeah but thats on a 720p screen not on a 1080p+ TV. Steamdeck can’t even do darksouls 1 on a 1080p display without being sub 60fps.
- Comment on [Meta] This community has been renamed to Steam Hardware to include the newly annouced Steam Machine and Steam Frame 3 months ago:
Yeah I pray it has a decent experience for modern games and isnt just an indie game box.

- Comment on Microsoft dives into the handheld gaming PC wars with the Asus ROG Xbox Ally 8 months ago:
SteamOS has had a good start but its not a headstart. Its still a minority OS in the handheld space. Now that you can get a slick UI with good preformance, 100% software compatibility, im failing to see the advantages that will draw windows users onto steam.
Im a linux users so I place a lot of value in the freedom of the ecosystem but most non linux users dont think about that or care. SteamOS needed this win to convince people to leave the microsoft ecosystem and now microsoft has closed the gap.
- Comment on Microsoft dives into the handheld gaming PC wars with the Asus ROG Xbox Ally 9 months ago:
You are sitting here saying finally a competitive os market but the competition has pretty much just ended.
- Comment on Microsoft dives into the handheld gaming PC wars with the Asus ROG Xbox Ally 9 months ago:
Ah shit Microsoft responded to steamOS. If this this matches or whoops linux in performance its going to make it very hard to convince people to move away from Microsoft.
- Comment on Gemini can now watch Google Drive videos for you 9 months ago:
Awesome now you get to have meetings with people who claim to be up to date but they actually haven’t listened to the meeting.
I can’t wait to have meetings where someone brings up a bunch of things that were addressed in the meeting because they used an ai summary. Or misunderstands the implementation because the ai fucked it up.
This is going to waste so much more time. It will save the person 30mins but waste 30mins of everyone’s time in the future.
