A this point if you use Reddit, you’ve earned whatever’s coming.
Or whatever came… For me it was getting banned for commenting “Rothschilds” and nothing else, on a video news report Post about a majority Jewish city council voting to defund public schools in the majority black neighborhoods. At one point, the camera zoomed in on a nameplate of one of the city council members… Rothschilds.
I saw it and posted a reply, seemingly without thinking… “Rothschilds”.
In seconds I was banned, for hate speech
I still use Reddit as it still provides a bunch of things the FV doesn’t at this time, but at the same time I welcome another wave of refugees when the evil empire pulls their next major boner.
That said, I’m not sure we’re quite ready for them in terms of specific communities having healthy active readerships and active mods. Maybe they can help revive what’s become a load of dormant c/’s across the FV, I don’t know.
This confirms the reason they haven’t shuttered it already is because they still rely on it for their codebase

I think if they manage to fuck up
old.reddit.comthat would have a bigger impact on people looking for alternatives than the API changes had as that mostly affected posters.
