I like the 10-minute match format. It made each minute more meaningful, so players played hard the entire time. They can change team compositions, but they should keep the game format. Maybe even make it 12 minutes per match. Also, give some time to rest for the last winner before the final, as they will be more gassed.
Props to Wemby and Ant for leading by example and actually playing. All it takes is a couple of players and it’s a domino effect. Even the old heads were playing hard. Oh and Kawhi is a freaking machine. lol
Disappointed but not unexpected with Jokic and Luka. With no Giannis and Shai, Wemby was basically carrying his entire team. Props to KAT on offense but his defense contributed to their loss, especially on the winning shot from Barnes. If Jokic and Luka were injured or on a minutes restriction, they should’ve been DNP’d and gave their roster spots to replacements who would actually try.

Because of the Winter Olympics coverage taking up primetime, all the All Star events started early this weekend.

For the big artists at least, it’s because the record labels as well being in cahoots with the streaming services. Having said that, all it takes is a couple of them to actually move to a more equitable platform and it will cause a domino effect. But they won’t, because they’re happy with the status quo. It’s the smaller artists who get the small end of the stick.

Post-trade deadline I need to figure out which player went where so I can decide what game to watch.

Yikes, he’s on the wrong side of 30. It’s gonna be rough coming back from that.

I hate Dort so much. He was specifically targeting Wemby’s shin/ankle after he got hurt early in the game. I’m dreading their next rematch because it’s only a matter of time before he injures someone.
On the other hand, great game from the Spurs. It looks like they’re finally getting past the hump of late-game collapses. Castle and Harper are studs and will feast on any opponent with weak guard defenses.
- Comment on The New York Knicks are the 2025 NBA Cup Champions 2 months ago:
Castle and Harper balled out. Future Spurs backcourt is gonna be amazing. Unfortunately Wemby and Fox choked. Robinson outplayed Wemby on the defensive end. Kornet was a better matchup. It’s not surprising that the Castle-Kornet PnR is more effective than with Wemby because Wemby is a bad screener. Hopefully they use this loss as fuel for the rest of the season.

Good idea budget wise. Mullvad doesn’t require any information from you though, except your payment info. And even then, you can pay by cash or crypto if you really want to purchase anonymously.
- Comment on Proton launches privacy-first alternative to Excel and Google Sheets 2 months ago:
If you don’t need port-forwarding, Mullvad is the best choice IMO. Eggs in a basket as well, if you already use other Proton products but don’t want to lock yourself into one vendor for everything.

These guys are openly admitting that all these investments are going into hot air. Altman has also already admitted we’re in a bubble. But it doesn’t matter because the line goes up anyway.

You’re probably underestimating the amount of people that don’t bother going into the Settings menu of the devices they own. It’s “most” rather than “some”. The percentage of the population that knows technology beyond the surface level of using it is tiny.

Yes, but you can have redundancy though. Obviously it comes with a cost, and I don’t know if Signal can afford it.

Pretty soon Windows will basically just be a thin client but somehow requires the resources of a full blown computer.
- Comment on AT&T tracked employee attendance to find 'freeloaders.' Now, it admits the system is driving workers to the 'brink of frustration.' 5 months ago:
the system doesn't just log badge swipes at the entrance or exit; the presence report uses laptop network connections and mobile device location data to infer the hours an employee was at their assigned office.
"I now understand the level of anxiety that this report has created," Kenny said. "I also now understand how the fact that it is inaccurate is driving people to the brink of frustration, and it's creating distrust."
Imagine being a C-level and just now understanding that breathing down an employee's neck their entire workday is terrible.

Yeah, I only found out maybe last year that there's a whole community underneath it. Up until then I thought it was simply just an image hosting site.
