- Comment on An Ubisoft investor wants to dethrone Ubisoft's founders so Ubisoft can lay more developers off 2 months ago:
I dont understand laying developers off. Lay off marketing, support staff, HR, communications…literally anything but what makes your product.
- Comment on Samsung TVs will get 7 years of updates, starting with 2023 models 3 months ago:
To be fair, updates are not indicative of end of life.
- Comment on Imperfect, Linux-powered, DIY smart TV is the embodiment of ad fatigue 4 months ago:
Is the resolution capped for desktop mode?
- Comment on Imperfect, Linux-powered, DIY smart TV is the embodiment of ad fatigue 4 months ago:
Is resolution capped? Netflix had prevented high bitrate 4k on desktop previously. In fact I think it was capped to 720.
- Comment on The Google Pay app is dead 5 months ago:
Because they did not get your information, all it did was repeat the info it had in essence being your card whereas now you sign over your privacy so they can track your spending.
- Comment on The Google Pay app is dead 5 months ago:
All I want from the wallet etc is to be able to store everything not only those who have partnered. Let me take a pic of my gym qr tag and store it there too.
Samsung used to store magnetic strip info and allow for a swipe function. Genius.
- Comment on Instagram makes more money from ads than YouTube does, and it has for years 7 months ago:
It kills me that they shove them so hard, like I dont hate them but I want normal content. Youtube pushed 10 minute plus videos so hard they bloated decent channels so I cant get through as many as I want anymore but then shoved 1 minute clips down my throat

Jamie Lee Curtis cleavage surprisingly good though, solid costuming there.
- Comment on Inside Sony’s ‘Madame Web’ Collapse: Forget About a New Franchise 9 months ago:
I dislike marvel because there is no consequence to their plots and it has gone on so long.
Having to have watched previous movies isn’t a negative, just that the content in question was boring and not consequential in it’s own right.
The stories are not self contained but other than a couple of very major cross overs there is nothing happening in the movies that impacts the rest of the universe unless it is something important for the plot of the next piece.

- Comment on Dave Chappelle’s Obsession With Mocking Trans People Continues in New Netflix Special ‘The Dreamer’: ‘I Love Punching Down’ 10 months ago:
He’s a landlord looking to lock up that patch for himself, he’s not a humble farmer either he’s a cover to cover wanker.
- Comment on Dave Chappelle’s Obsession With Mocking Trans People Continues in New Netflix Special ‘The Dreamer’: ‘I Love Punching Down’ 10 months ago:
Yeah the Chappelle show, then he came back convinced he was both special and a victim.
My grandfather this, rich people in a room that, being black in America is the same as going to war. He is a prick without nuance.

- Comment on Kelsey Grammer’s Pro-Trump Comments Derail ‘Frasier’ Promo Interview 11 months ago:
It’s okay, he’s the same old Frasier pretty easily, the surrounding characters could come from any other sitcom in the last 15-20 years.
- Comment on Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer released early by rockstar after it was supposedly leaked 11 months ago:
I’ve waited so long for this and it was just ok. It is only a reveal but nothing stood out as something I need to be a part of. Maybe it’s marketed toward their online cohort.
- Comment on Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 1 11 months ago:
I literally used the word great in my comment, just a couple of the NPCs looked odd to me. The first girl in the bikini is walking odd or something.
- Comment on Ed Boon: Mortal Kombat 1 Will Be Getting a Story DLC 11 months ago:
Deception’s Konquest is top tier MK story mode.
The PS2 games we’re in a different league and they don’t even tease a remake.
- Comment on Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 1 11 months ago:
Great input, fucking internet.
- Comment on Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 1 11 months ago:
It looked great other than NPCs, they were a bit off, stilted and blocky
- Comment on TIME.com's 10 Best Video Games of 2023 11 months ago:
I liked fighting games, mostly MK but the newer ones give me the ick. They’re not as fun, is SF a standout or just good in that role?

- Comment on Are there any notable content creators that focus on content other than niche tech and US political on Mastodon? 1 year ago:
100% it’s political and so very one sided, obviously. It’s actually quite annoying a sub on reddit because they are right in what they say about urban planning and then ignore or attack anyone who recognises the freedoms associated with personal cars. It’s not a progressive debate if you refuse to see the benefits of what you oppose.
- Comment on Are there any notable content creators that focus on content other than niche tech and US political on Mastodon? 1 year ago:
Same as that, I stopped using it because it was so so narrow in scope.
That said I hated Twitter and never used it, never had it installed.
