- Comment on [Discussion] What games have you been playing on your deck? - September 2024 2 months ago:
I recently bought the Cat Quest trilogy. I played the first two on my switch but the third one just came out and Steam did the whole bundle at a discount so I snagged it. Been enjoying replaying the first two before I start on the new one.
- Comment on Do you still use your Steam Deck much? 5 months ago:
I’m using my almost exclusively now. My PS4 is dying and I don’t want a PS5 so I’m currently buying my favorite games from that system in steam. Occasionally I’ll co-op game on the Xbox with my husband and I’ll pick up my switch whenever I get the itch to play animal crossing. But truthfully my vision is getting worse as I get older so the steam deck has become my favorite. My only regret is not getting the version with bigger storage. I haven’t tried streaming games from my PC yet but that’s my only option right now for larger games like Forza.

Huh, I knew of the term from car communities (Civics for life) but I never put two and two together when thinking about it being used in the Linux community. TIL thanks.
- Comment on What moment from a video game made you cry? 11 months ago:
When my husband was playing this through for the first time I was watching him play and guessed what was happening when John was getting ready to propose to Abigail. We both watched that lovely cutscene teary eyed. It really reminded us of our engagement.
- Comment on I feel like I need a separate body towel (big towel), and 3 other small towels for hair, face, and hands. 4 towels in total. Is that normal? 11 months ago:
Something I learned taking college microbiology was that if you reuse towels for drying off make sure one end (like the end with the tag) is dedicated for your bottom half and the other for the top. That way you don’t accidentally get your genital flora in your eyes/face.
- Comment on The steam deck feels very heavy 1 year ago:
I was concerned about the weight when I got mine as I am used to Nintendo handhelds. After playing with my Steam deck for over a year now I don’t notice the weight anymore. I actually feel like I’m going to break my Switch when I play it now.
