- Comment on Valve May Start Selling Refurbished Steam Deck OLEDs Soon 1 week ago:
I just got an OLED and had to RMA it after 1 day due to audio jack being completely messed up. Crackling, interference, static.
Some research online shows it is a very widespread issue and they continue selling broken items, since only a percentage of users use 3.5mm audio interface and only a percentage of these will bother to return the item.

It’s perfect. My only gripe is sometimes it reads analogue joystick input as double move - but then you can just use pad or tweak the steam input profile.
Performance-wise it feels like a game made for deck

Wilmot Works It Out - much simpler than Wilmot’s Warehouse, an extremely enjoyable puzzle game.

Persona 5 Reloaded!
- Comment on [Discussion] SteamOS 3.6 is nearly here, with Valve focusing on bug fixes before release. What are some bugs you've encountered (on either Stable or Beta) that you're hoping to see fixed? 2 months ago:
The one where the zoom animation plays several times in quick succession? Yea, I get that bug too. Very annoying.
- Comment on LCD Steam Decks on sale. 64GB LCD (15% off - $296.65) and LCD 512GB LCD (25% off - $336.75) 2 months ago:
Lol, of course, right after I put my deck on eBay
- Comment on Black Myth: Wukong shows very clearly Valve are selling a lot of Steam Decks 3 months ago:
All this assumes the top selling list is automatically generated based on sales data and not human-curated like most “top/trending” lists on many platforms.
- Comment on Are there any accessories that improve holding the steam deck with one hand? 8 months ago:
Probably some kind of exoskeleton. This thing is heavy.
- Comment on GTA 6 is likely to skip PC again and only launching on current gen consoles 1 year ago:
Naturally. Rockstar likes to resell their titles no less than Bethesda. They will sell it to you on PS5 and series x/s, then again on PS6 and whatever Xbox will be around. Then probably Nintendo platform, finally PC.
This way they maximize the amount of times some people will buy the same game, each time with minimal quality upgrade.
Same as their previous titles. It’s not that they didn’t learn. They have the numbers and know very well what they’re doing.

Would have never guessed.

Looks like an absolute celebration of all the worst things America is known for. Pass, thanks.
- Comment on GTA 6 trailer coming Tuesday, Rockstar announces 1 year ago:
The two GTAs I actually lived and finished are from before Rockstar era: GTA and GTA2 - the 2D ones. I played all the big open world Rockstar titles (except for Bully) and I think I’m just not the right audience for what they are making.

Never gotten further than about 5 hours into any Rockstar game. This time I’ll just let the hype pass me by.

Baldurs Gate 3 on Steam Deck is basically turning electricity into heat with some frames produced as a side effect :)
