good to know it can work!

Ah, I’m not sure how well that’d work via yuzu and ryujinx forks. Perhaps if the executable is added through the steam client so you could delegate the functionality via steam input? Sounds messy as heck though.

If you don’t use them to relax your grip in specific types of games (delegating common functions away from thumbs) you might like to use them for DVR capability like instant replay?

Given Activision’s track record, I wouldn’t count on it unless valve strongly intervene. Contemporaries like EA have even backtracked on Linux compat for anticheat.

I haven’t played GTA 5 or online in a good few years now, but I’m curious, does this affect popular mods like fivem in any way?

the fact that valve went and provided official support for a popular, third party, higher res display is pretty wild.

Sort of astounded at this deficiency, though it seems scroll speed is (erroneously) tied to DPI at present?

Neat! I wasn’t aware of this. Has there been any press or indication of its efficacy so far?
- Comment on Sea of Thieves gets Easy Anti-Cheat - thankfully enabled for Steam Deck / Linux 1 year ago:
Feels like client side anticheat is a perpetual game of cat and mouse either way. EGS certainly doesnt prevent cheaters from spoiling apex (impossible aim & recoils control, impossible aim snapping & prefiring on target location, impossible movement etc).
Server side would be great but extremely costly in terms of performance from what little I understand.
- Comment on Why more PC gaming handhelds should ditch Windows for SteamOS - Ars Technica 1 year ago:
From what I understand (and definitely dont take my word for it at all) the ‘SteamOS on other systems’ initiative has taken a bit of a backseat.
Its unfortunate since so many newer & excitingly capabale handhelds are offering such a poor OOTB experience with win11.

Does it have a user accessible UEFI? If so, has anyone had any luck booting HoloISO or Chimera on it?
