Eh serious tournaments disable items in Smash, the same isn’t said for Mario Kart.
- Comment on What moment from a video game made you cry? 11 months ago:
Bit of an odd one, but the “Jump Up, Superstar” sequence from Mario Odyssey. It was just a crash of nostalgia combined with the unapologetic celebration of Mario games in general. It was so beautiful that I couldn’t help it.
And other givens like the endings to Mother 3 and Undertale.
- Comment on Pokemon Go at home vs POKÉMON GO 11 months ago:
This system is in the game. You can look up info for Pokemon biomes. TL;DR is that open street maps lists zones related to terrain, and Pokemon GO has always had separate spawn pools related to these. The major ones are forest, mountain, waterside, and urban.
As of several years ago, this distinction was heavily reduced, and it largely flattened the spawn pools worldwide.
But in 2016-2017 I’d specifically seek out rivers to find Magikarp and lakes to find Poliwag.

When I was a kid in the 90s, we biked all over. Loved going 5 miles down the highway to the surplus store. It wasn’t a busy highway though and had a big shoulder.

Big boost to SOMA and Lisa: The Painful. Never thought of the latter as horror, but honestly it 100% fits; horror without the thriller.

The Beginner’s Guide, a bit more walking sim than horror, but the spooky is there.
