I checked about a month ago and the consensus was giant mess.
- Comment on Disco Elysium studio bosses humiliated the cancelled expansion's lead writer for speaking to journalists, claims report 5 months ago:
Just watched the PMG video last night. I still don’t really understand what’s happening. The only clear thread seems to be that the owners of ZA/UM seem to be awful.
- Comment on Sun Haven is for Stardew Valley fans that want more and it now has controller support 5 months ago:
Like Stardew and the Sims had a baby.

I’m very encouraged to hear this.
- Comment on It Takes Two does not require EA app anymore and its Steam Deck Verified now 5 months ago:
I’ve never played the game or even heard of this scene until reading that article and the sense he gives is so unsatisfying to me.
I think if you view it as a metaphor for divorce, it could make sense. Something the parents feel they have to do for their own health and well being that is nonetheless catastrophic for many children. Their life as they know it, their sense of security, is carefully and methodically being ripped apart.
I could see that, but he didn’t really go there, it was just that the parents are so egoistic they just do whatever they believe is right.
I mean, sure, but it could be a powerful scene if framed properly, but it really sounds messed up.
- Comment on Strategy RPG Songs Of Conquest will hit 1.0 with a final campaign next month 6 months ago:
I was a huge fan of heroes of might and magic growing up and the only game that ever came close to scratching that same itch was Age of Wonders 1 & 2.
This definitely has my attention.
- Comment on Fortnite will let you hide "confrontational" emotes, including the game's most popular 6 months ago:
Why? Who cares? If it makes for a more enjoyable experience for others and has no impact on gameplay, what’s the problem?
It would seem the only downside is for teabaggers that enjoy rubbing defeat in their opponents faces.
- Comment on Deep Rock Galactic Season 5 tunnels through time itself and lets you replay old seasons 7 months ago:
Assuming you get to keep the latest and greatest in toys, such as new weapons and overclocks, this is great.
I can’t imagine playing my scout without my beloved Drak.
- Comment on NYC’s government chatbot is lying about city laws and regulations 7 months ago:
Lying is such a poor choice of words. It’s not intentionally deceiving anyone. It just continues to babble as coherently as it can, its just so impressive to some people that they don’t realize there’s no tiny machine person typing away on the other end.
- Comment on Evan Rachel Wood Still Doesn’t Know ‘Westworld’ Ending After Cancellation: “It Keeps Me Up at Night” 9 months ago:
I strongly suspect no one does and that’s why the show got cancelled.
- Comment on [Game] New Elden Ring patch - fixes broken EAC on Steam Deck 10 months ago:
I wonder if this will affect my main computer. I had one of those rare configurations that caused the anticheat to completely tank my fps. Disabling the anticheat made it perfectly playable.

Cereal Killer is amazing! What a weird and fun idea. I’m genuinely surprised it works.
- Comment on Tiny battle bot uses 300 pound house bot as a weapon 11 months ago:
I recently got into BattleBots. I knew there were lighter weight leagues out there, but had no idea you could watch it on YouTube.
If there’s other channels to follow, let me know. I love this stuff.

That is completely insane. I’m very curious who won.

- Comment on 11 months ago:
I’ve enjoyed Strange New Worlds and consider it the best of the Paramount+ live action trek, by a fair margin.
That said, Lower Decks is spectacular and heart warming and wonderfully hilarious. It deserves all the success in the world.

This just made my day. I had no idea there would be another season.

- Comment on Godot 4.2 arrives in style 11 months ago:
As a non-programmer who is nonetheless invested in the success of Godot, can anyone explain some of the highlights from this release?
I started reading the log and realized very quickly, I’m not the target audience and I don’t know why it ‘arrived in style’.

- Comment on Woman suffers bloody nose after fight breaks out on Ryanair flight to Tenerife 11 months ago:
If there’s one thing I know about Ryanair flights to Tenerife, it’s that fights apparently break out on them from time to time.

I really like it. I was looking for a successor to Sid Meier’s Railroads and this may be as close as you’ll get.
The goal is to optimize a variety of resources to their various processing facilities and then delivered for shipment. There can be multiple stages to a process and multiple inputs to achieve the goal in a timely manner.
I’m not very good at it, but enjoy it as a meditative process. I can sort out bad routes and inefficient patterns and it feels great when it’s all resolved and working as it should.
- Comment on 1 year ago:
Just got my first win on easy. I had a few missteps with builds, but it’s remarkable how fun it is as it comes together.
Honestly, it easily has the most gripping gameplay of a traditional roguelike. It’s really amazing.

- Dead Cells
- Railgrade
- Jupiter Hell
