I was implying that you do the actual singing verbally. Like actually saying the bits and bob, which would be pretty much impossible.
Of course you could sign voice messages. That would be like singing any other file.

Of course you don’t verbally sign voice messages. That wouldn’t make any sense at all unless you are a robot or something.
It was just a joke. But if you wanted to authenticate something (like an email, or voice I guess) in a PKI you would sign it using your certificate private key and the CA would tell the recipient if it’s valid or not.

Seems a bit hard to verbally exchange keys and sign your speech though.

They should just have advertised it as an ARM pc with better battery life.

I barely notice it.
The SD card slot is pointing down when I use it.
I also have a case which makes it even harder to see.

- Comment on God of War Ragnarok PC port suffers review bombing on Steam due to PlayStation Network account requirement 2 months ago:
That’s true. It’s not user-friendly or pro-consumer.
- Comment on God of War Ragnarok PC port suffers review bombing on Steam due to PlayStation Network account requirement 2 months ago:
I was referring to your last point.
- Comment on God of War Ragnarok PC port suffers review bombing on Steam due to PlayStation Network account requirement 2 months ago:
- It means Sony won’t sell the game in countries where they don’t allow PSN accounts.
That isn’t a problem for all the users that review the game though.
- Their servers suck ass. I’m literally unable to play this game, even if I wanted to, because I get one generic server error after another when trying to make an account. This is the same reason it was originally removed from Helldivers 2.
I don’t know about that since I have never connected my PSN account. The only game I own which supports it is Ghost of Tsushima and I haven’t connected my account to that game.
-
Sony has a horrific track record of data breaches.
-
They’re collecting and selling data about you for profit.
-
Its a completely arbitrary and anti-consumer requirement that has zero benefits to you as the consumer.
Fair enough.

How much of a problem is it really though?
I don’t like it but eh.

- Comment on Steam Beta adds new shortcut key to save a clip of recent gameplay 3 months ago:
You should probably use a third party app like OBS if you need an advanced recording setup. This is intended for simple clips.

No similar features I have ever used records using your microphone.
- Comment on True actual sailing games are underrated and a criminally underexplored genre of video game simulation... which is why Pancake Sailor is the next free game you should try! 5 months ago:
It’s not perfect but I always liked how the sailing boats in watch dogs 2 were more realistic. The wind actually does what it is supposed to do and you can’t just simply go perfectly straight

I own the LCD model (bought long before OLED edition existed) and it brings me joy on the train.
Sure it would be nice with a better screen, bigger battery, and slightly lighter device. But it’s not something you absolutely need.
Whenever it’s worth it for you is a very personal thing that depends highly on what you prioritise and how much money you have.

- Comment on Do you still use your Steam Deck much? 6 months ago:
I usually play on my commute so between 15 min and 90 min each day depending on whether i play during the whole commute both ways or just a little bit. It’s usually around 60 min each day because the rest is by bus and I don’t always bother to pull it out or I don’t get a place to sitt.

Yes, absolutely. Server 2016 and especially 2022 will be supported for some more years.
Server 2025 isn’t even out yet.
I doubt it will be that easy to get more support on win 10 though.
- Comment on End of support for Windows 10, Windows 8.1, and Windows 7 | October 2025 for Windows 10 6 months ago:
Yes, Windows 10 won’t stop working. It just won’t get any support (it actually might if something absolutely disastrous for security happens and they want to avoid the bad press and maybe even protect their customers if the fix isn’t too hard. But I wouldn’t count on it.

So far I have a habit of playing the same game for longer when I play in short bursts on the train and sometimes bus to work. Games like those probably just work really well for commuting.
