Yeah, seems more than likely. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to reserve on the 8th, so that’s my punishment for not being permanently online I guess. But it could be worse, at least I’m still in the second order window (the other is in September), the third is a window in 2027 which has yet to be determined. So good luck to whomever got pushed to that one.

I half wonder if it’s regional, I reserved mine when that went up and mine showed up a few weeks back, it shipped out of the states though so idk.
Could be, I’m living in Europe.
I don’t own a steamdeck, so I can’t compare it to thay. But sounds good to me from what you are telling. I’ll patiently await my turn to order one.

Thanks for sharing! I can wait, I’m not in a rush fortunately. We are in the middle of a renovation, so time and energy for gaming is limited anyway. Nice to see you are enjoying it, have fun!

Damn, that’s blazingly fast by comparison! Seeing as I’ll not be able to get my hands on one anytime soon, care to share your experience with it?

It’s probably going to take some time before you can buy it though. I reserved mine on May 9th, estimation is that I can place my order in December. 😞
- Comment on Lutris now being built with Claude AI, developer decides to hide it after backlash 3 months ago:
I’m using the latest GE Proton as well, installed Battle.net through the New Game/App dialog. Just found out that Battle.net does start, but it simply never shows a dialogue and therefore there is no way to interact with it. No taskbar item as well of course.
Solving vague issues with Linux systems is already a big part of my day job and last week was pretty rough, so basically the choice boils down to :
- Spend energy I honestly do not have on whipping Faugus into shape.
- Keep using a working Lutrisbsetup, even though it is AI slop.
Neither appeal to me at the moment. 😞

Thanks, but unfortunately it fails to launch Battle.net for me. Not really in the mood to debug that further at the moment, guess I’ll stick to other games for now.

On my system it was the only thing that actually managed to get the Battle.net launcher to work. Sigh, time for another hunt for an alternative I guess.

As a developer I can only say: no matter how foolproof you make your product, you will always encounter that one special user.

Nah, he tried to plug in a DisplayPort connector. With a sledgehammer.

I’ve seen a lot of hate regarding Vortex, often backed without any arguments. So I guess you are just supposed to hate Vortex, but to be honest it works just fine for me. Try it out yourself, if you don’t like it or run into issues you can always try something else.
