  I agree, but on the otherhand, fuck IP law. Is Valve making this same or at least very similar product? Is dbrand claiming its an official product? No? Then fuck right off on being able to stop it.

  Literally all this does is hurt consumers so that big corps can have the theoretical potential of making more money even if it is never and will never be actioned on.

  You can play offline, though. You can argue that $25 (the cost of the expansion) or $36 (cost of the remaster + fresh dlc equivalent to a small expansion) is too expensive, but its not just $36 for a 25 year old game. And you can just open a bnet account with a burner email if its that problematic for you. Afaik the launcher is unnecessary. Youre completely and utterly overboard here.
