Also to break glass, don’t hit the middle of the glass, strike near a bottom corner where it is less likely to flex against the impact. You may be able to take a seatbelt’s end and use the corner of the metal end of the seatbelt to break it if you have nothing else. Corners for breaking

Man the russian-oil-propaganda-polluted trumptards are going to lose their shit when those goofy looking things start delivering mail. Communist mail trucks from O’Biden! Etc

I agree about ripping the CDs to files, but disc rot is not a big deal to worry about if you’re storing the CDs properly away from sunlight and heat. Recently I’ve been going through my collection and ripping old CDs of stuff I didn’t have in the digital library… and all my CDs from the 90s that I’ve tried are still good. Many of these are 30+ years old and still sound perfect

Most of Congress probably thinks an AOL CD is how you get on the Internet, they might not be the most qualified to craft our cybersecurity policies.

Well the joke is on them because I don’t have any of the “next gen” or last gen consoles and I’m not going to buy one. If they release it for PC then I may buy it after it goes on sale, but I won’t put more effort than that to get GTA6

Yeah I had the original B&W Gameboy and the battery life was not great, so you could not use it in all of those places unless you were rich and had an endless supply of AA batteries.
It was good for a couple hours on one set of 4 AA batteries if I recall correctly. We did have rechargables back then but they were Ni-Cad and they sucked, took forever to recharge.

A big difference between then and now is the portable nature and ubiquity of the devices.
Back then you didn’t take your NES to bed and keep playing it, or play Sega on the toilet, or Atari at the dinner table.
The devices are in every space of our lives now.

They can hang out anywhere they want actually. We didn’t have any kid hangout places back in the 90s and we biked and skateboarded all over town. We hung out with friends in parking lots and stores, wherever we wanted to basically.
The problem is the frame of mind that they need a structured environment to do their activities when they don’t.
