Just looking at the picture I can already tell it’s not going to respect the source material. There’s no polygon boobs! I deem this garbage!!!
/s, I just always see this discussion and wanted to make fun of it.

Pretty good, actually. I play it couch co-op with an Xbox style controller. Keyboard and mouse work great as well.
Larian did a good job with it.

I get that you believe that and it’s a cute hill to die on, but that does not change the fact that a D&D video game did poorly and subsequently Hasbro shit canned a bunch of stuff. Larian got a pass because their shit was already in early access.

What are you talking about? Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance was a whole ass game. It got kind of shitty reviews (currently sitting at 50% on Steam, 4/10 on IGN, 53% on metacritic).

Considering there were rumored to be several games in the pipeline that all got scrapped at the beginning of last year, I think you’re right. Dark Alliance didn’t do great so I’m sure the execs freaked out.
Hopefully you’re right about the message they received.

I can eat, keep the lights on, and have enough left over to not worry for a little bit. Otherwise I can starve on someone else’s principles.
There’s nothing morally wrong with being in a bad movie. Even if you meant artistic integrity (which is what I really assume) there has always been a lot of bad art (music, movies, plays, paintings, books, whatever) produced. There’s no shortage of people who want to be a part of that for reasons ranging from surviving to having a good time.
If you don’t like something, don’t watch it, read it, listen to it, or look at it. Don’t accuse others of not having integrity just because you can’t fathom why they do what they do.

I had the same issue ages ago with the same fix. I’m curious what setting is getting stuck and why it hasn’t been addressed in over a year.
