- Comment on Junk Store: BIG update on what is next 2 weeks ago:
I was wondering if you would please send me the zip file for the GoG extension please.
I can’t pay for it due to being broke and currently can’t even pay the overdraft fees on my checking account, and was going to eventually pay them for it once i got out of my depression and landed a job…
But now reading what they are doing here makes me never want to pay these guys a single penny, however I’d wish to play my backlog of free GoG games i earned as well as Morrowind from my GoG library using the Junk Store extension. I appreciate you!

Great rebuke. Once you guys release the paid version, you may have swayed me any anyone reading to consider buying in. Hopefully you guys don’t force a recurring payment like how you have set up through your Patreon

Junk Store dev gives me bad vibes and is charging money for GoG access, and after a recent update is forcing everyone to purchase a second license to access GoG again. I say fuck that noise

OP, I am really really really glad to treat myself to your extremely interesting and entertaining substantive posts.
Appreciate your hard work and cannot wait for your next one! Don’t burn out, and post stuff (or don’t!) when it feels right.

Very very easy to do with a Steam Deck. Let me know if you need directives.

Hey, OP, it looks like you put in some actual effort in this post insteadof just using AI, and I just wanted to let you know I like this shit and appreciate your work here, and look forward to your next post.

What a dogshit OS 🪟.
This is the exact same bullshit Apple pulls every few years, but no one talks about it. Why?

Apparently, if someone had the resources to get a hold of some decent nvidia A6000 gpus, they can abliterate the LLM in six hours.

This is a cool and promising project. Going to keep my eyes on this one

This is cool as fuck and very cyberpunk.
- Comment on Looks like Valve is preparing to release SteamOS to the public (or at least to third-party hardware manufacturers) 5 months ago:
They silently switched from Debian to Arch under the hood for the Deck and never released it to the public for download.
- Comment on Microsoft’s AI boss thinks it’s perfectly OK to steal content if it’s on the open web 10 months ago:
Ironically, you having an anti commercial AI license at the bottom of all your comments makes you now more of a target for AI LLMs to steal from you due to Streisand Effect.

They don’t spend their own time. They pay CodeWeavers to do that work.

Why would Valve spend time and money doing Mozilla’s job?

This is stupid that Microsoft simply sat on their hands for two years, knowing full well that there was an exploit being actively used against their own customers, and did not give two fucks to report it until just now.

Thanks for linking the games you mentioned, otherwise I would never had bothered to check them out, and they both look amazing.
Harsh Doorstop looks like it will be a fun homage to those old modded Counter-Strike 1.6 servers, and Vostok looks interesting.

Buy Arma 3 or Squad, or Hell Let Loose, or Escape From Tarkov, or literally anything else made by an indie studio and never look back. Triple A studios can no longer sustain the game development model and remain profitable due to b-suite and a-suite management grifting all the profits and paying for CEO golden parachutes while the QA and game devs can barely afford rent.

The “valuable lesson” learned from BF2042 release they learned is likely to drip feed the shitty toxic unrealistic immersion breaking in-game store instead of blatant money grab immediately on release.
