Why is the actual reason the FTC is not pleased nowhere to be found in the article headline, but the one reason the FTC doesn’t give a shit about is?
To make you click and get ads to populate your browser cookies and track you for a while.
Why wouldn’t they actually just make it N95 level filtration. Wouldn’t be that much more.
The manufacturing company needs National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) certification for that.

The penalty was only $100,000, which is so small you can count on Razer pulling a similar stunt in the future, so no worries, you’ll get more fraudulently labelled cyberpunk gear.
What’s more cyber punk than a billion dollar company selling fake lifesaving equipment for profit, while breaking/ ignoring/ bribing their way past the law?
It says they also have to refund customers. So it’s 100k on top of what they made selling them.
Should still be higher imo. It’s a pretty dangerous thing to do during a pandemic.

25 years for stealing 11 billions, I don’t think it’s nowhere enough. How many people died as a result of his theft? How is that different from pointing a gun and shooting someone?
