- Comment on [Discussion] Steam Autumn Sale has started. What are you buying for your Steam Deck? 3 weeks ago:
Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Hopefully plays decently on the deck.
- Comment on [Discussion] What games are you playing on your deck? - November 2024 1 month ago:
Windblown plays really well on the SD. Developed by Motion Twin, same folks behind Dead Cells. Rogue-like that plays similar to Hades but has some persistent upgrades like Dead Cells.
- Comment on [Discussion] Double discussion this month, what games did you buy for your Deck during the Steam Sale, and what are you playing on Deck right now? - July 2024 5 months ago:
Fallout 76. Got hooked after watching the show and went through the previous 3d games back to back. Also bought Undertale but haven’t fully committed to that one yet.

I played a little bit last night and had a bit of difficulty avoiding things with my “heart”. Do you use the analog stick or the touchpad? I’ll have to play with control settings tonight and see if I can not die so fast. :)

I haven’t! I’m excited to see what’s in store.

Ok that game actually looks pretty sick. Never heard of it before.

Oh that’s a great idea. I’ll have to try that. I did notice that I need to use the tall buttons that come with the Jsaux brand clear back shell. I have long fingers so they rest on the back of the deck, past the buttons. Tried the mediums and same issue, couldn’t trigger the buttons easily. And the stock ones are really difficult for me to activate at all.

I’m trying that on FO4 right now. Instead of clicking in left stick, I mapped it to R4. Seems more natural than holding down the click on stick that you’re also using to move directionally.

Oh…Crosscode, first game mentioned so far that I actually play. Interesting. I’ll have to try that out. Thanks!

Does Valheim still cause the fan to go crazy or did they further optimize on the deck? I admittedly haven’t tried it since right after buying the thing.

Yeah, this was the only thing I could think of as well. But I haven’t played an MMO since City of Heroes, or SW: Galaxies, whichever was most recent. Don’t recall atm.

- Comment on Do you still use your Steam Deck much? 6 months ago:
A whole bunch. After watching Fallout on Prime, I was inspired to try the series again (started and stopped both FO:NV and 4 several times in the past). I’ve played through all of Fallout 3, NV, and their DLCs, and I’m currently in the Nuka World dlc in 4. They all run fabulous on the deck. I work from home, so the thought of gaming in the very same chair I’ve been in for 8 hrs is unappealing. But lounging on the couch with my deck is fantastic!

Came to say the same. Just one more run…
- Comment on [Discussion] New month, new games. What are you playing on your Deck? - February 2024 10 months ago:
Halls of Torment. I can’t get enough. Like Vampire Survivors, but cooler and with a slap of Diablo 2 “paint”. Best $5 I’ve spent since…well…Vampire Survivors.
