That’d be around $3.50.
- Comment on The 'Grand Theft Auto 6' of Grand Theft Auto 6-likes, aka Grand Theft Auto VI, is coming next “fall" 2 days ago:
Seems like Rock Paper Shotgun employees have some internal contest for the most moronic article title.
- Comment on What are you playing this week? May 13 2024 Edition 6 days ago:
Playing Fallout 4 and it will keep me occupied for upcoming weeks.
- Comment on Steam, Epic and GMG are canceling Ghost of Tsushima PC pre-orders in non-PSN countries 1 week ago:
Out of this whole issue with both games, I’m baffled the most by the fact that there are over 170 where PSN isn’t available… W-why?
- Comment on Game Pass’s “only (outside) shot” for sustainability is to get GTA 6 or Call of Duty, says former Microsoft senior PR lead 1 week ago:
I think they have no hopes. GTA 6, as usually with Rockstar games, will release on consoles first (in 2025), and will follow with PC release 1-2 years later. It will likely be a hardware-demanding game. Playstation is expected to release a PS5 Pro this Autumn, and Microsoft is only rumored to release a new console in 2026.
So imagine you are a PC player who can’t resist the hype and doesn’t really want to wait another ~2 years for arguably the most anticipated game of all time. You decide to buy a console, which one do you pick? PS5 Pro, which promises the best experience on the better hardware (other PS advantages aside), or Xbox, because “if you subscribe to game pass for slightly cheaper than the price of the game, you could also play other games on a console you bought just for GTA6”?
I’m also pretty sure there will be PS5 Pro + GTA6 bundles available, so it’s an obvious choice for a non console owner, and as for the console owners, regular PS5 already outsold regular Xbox 2 to 1.
- Comment on Xbox Reportedly Considering Bringing Senua's Saga: Hellblade II To PS5 1 week ago:
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will be locked to 30 FPS on Xbox Series X/S
If it’s supposed to be the same case for PS5 then you might as well not bring it.
- Comment on With a few days to go Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy is fully funded on Kickstarter 1 week ago:
“inspired by the classic Infinity Engine games like Baldur’s Gate, Icewind Dale” and available on consoles too? Colour me interested!

An actually informative and not clickbaiting title from RPS? Colour me shocked.

The bot has added the same news for the 3rd time within 3 hours… What’s the most surprising however is that this time it used a source different than Gaming On Linux and (usually click-baity) Rock Paper Shotgun.

- Comment on Pick up some classics in the Good Old Games sale at GOG 4 weeks ago:
Definitely Fallout 1 & 2 and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
Wouldn’t buy Gothic because the remake is in development so it’s better to wait.

- Comment on Last year's top guilty favourite action game has received a big free combat update 5 weeks ago:
I don’t know the name of the game because I don’t click on baits, I downvote them.
- Comment on Last year's top guilty favourite action game has received a big free combat update 5 weeks ago:
It would have been easier to name the game instead of writing Last year’s top guilty favourite action game and it would leave spece for mentioning what’s in the update. For me, this is spam.

Clickbait.

- Comment on Baldur’s Gate 3 studio will likely bring their next game to early access again, but admit it’s not for every dev 5 weeks ago:
using Baldur’s Gate 3 in the title will probably gather more clicks.
That’s what I’m getting at - it’s an annoying clickbait.

Rovk Paper Shotgun doesn’t know Baldur’s Gate 3 studio’s name?
- Comment on Forty-Niner is an upcoming open-world wild west survival game 1 month ago:
Holy shit! Open-world wild west and I’m sold 🤠. I’d prefer the graphics were not fortnitish but whatever, I’ll live with it. I was totally expecting the game to be PC-only, buy then, at the very end, the gorgeous PS logo appeared! Definitely a buy for me.

- Comment on Hellblade 2 will finally show us what an Unreal Engine 5 game can do 1 month ago:
For the record - I’m not the one who downvoted you.
For me 60 FPS is nowadays an entry condition when choosing a game. PS5 has a good hardware and if a game can’t run in 60 FPS it means it’s poorly optimized. The difference of playing in 60 FPS vs 30 FPS is huge. I always go for performance mode if there’s an option.

- Comment on Google Is Killing Retro Dodo & Other Independent Sites 1 month ago:
I’m the last person to defend Google, but I’ll address some of the allegations mentioned in the post:
-
I nowadays mostly search on my phone looking for quick answers so those instant anwers (if accurate) right there in the search results are what I expect. Sorry. If I want to dive into the subject and make a proper research on a subject then I might visit yours and other sites.
-
Ads / sponsored results have always been part of Google - that’s pretty obvious. I despise ads, I refuse to see them, I think everone should use adblockers. If they don’t, that’s their problem
-
Reddit is showing up in the results a lot because Google search in general got shitty and people started adding the word “reddit” to their search phrase. I myself too prefer search results from reddit because they simply answer my questions that other websites wouldn’t.
