  What an objective and informative article from RPS, as always!

  I guess most of the gamers must be “riGhT WiNg gRiFtErS” (???) since barely anyone bought the game despite it being a very popular franchise.

    They’re pointing out the objective fact that a large portion of the “influencers” that peddle this rage bait are just in it because right wing chuds still need something to be angry about after the mainstream realized that gamergate was actually just a targeted harassment campaign.

    No, it doesn’t mean that all of their criticisms are invalid, but their function as a pipeline into the radical right shouldn’t be ignored.

    That is an objective statement? This game did face backlash from right-wing grifters prior to release? “Prior to release” is doing a lot of heavy lifting, but the right always cries whenever a black guy or woman is in anything.

      Was there some kind of political views poll carried out among the players? What grifters? Who did grift whom? Does not buying a game make you a grifter?
