Colore me shocked you finally understand that law is about specific things and im talking about what is laid out in the article!
And as i said, that thing being opt in would make it useless so it won’t be outside of EU, if it even comes to eu, we already have a different windows version than the rest of the world.

All of these may be violated depending on implementation, there is no meaningful way of implementation that wouldn’t violate any of them. Nobody would opt-in to such BS.

Bloating up hard-drives could be ruled as damage to a system, that would be a court matter however.
- Comment on Microsoft's new Recall AI will take screenshots of everything you do - freaky 5 months ago:
No we are talking about the entirety of this shit being a violation, not just the part about the Screenshots being made and locally stored (although that probably would violate other laws)
- Comment on Microsoft's new Recall AI will take screenshots of everything you do - freaky 5 months ago:
Do you actually think they just screenshot everything for no reason? If so please just get help.
- Comment on Microsoft's new Recall AI will take screenshots of everything you do - freaky 5 months ago:
When they collect that data, they do it for a reason… They don’t do it just because its possible to do it… The existence of the data itself is a problem as its collected without consent.
You are making a fool of yourself.
- Comment on Microsoft's new Recall AI will take screenshots of everything you do - freaky 5 months ago:
Bro GDPR is about getting and processing data, there is no fucking point you can make to say that this isn’t a GDPR violation. You are being absolutely nuts about it. They have no right to do that in general.

- Comment on Microsoft's new Recall AI will take screenshots of everything you do - freaky 5 months ago:
The taking of screenshots is the privacy violation. There is nothing i have to “proof” about that, its the same thing as permanently recording you, wich is illegal.
Ots collection of data and as such falls under the strict laws around GDPR.

- Comment on Microsoft's new Recall AI will take screenshots of everything you do - freaky 5 months ago:
One that Screenshots what you do without you knowing (wich will 100% happen as most people don’t read news about the shit Microsoft is doing) it would need to be opt in and very specifically tell you what it does.
So it does by existing.
