Yea I tried all the DE back during intel 3rd gens. And I really tried and wanted it to work.
- Comment on End of 10 is a campaign to move people over to Linux with Windows 10 support ending 2 weeks ago:
Ubuntu 12.04 was nice for desktop users. It just didn’t do anything good for gaming at the time.
- Comment on End of 10 is a campaign to move people over to Linux with Windows 10 support ending 2 weeks ago:
Mints file explorer when moving large files does leave some meat on the bone for me.

Might want to have some people a hit more coherent on which version of Linux so they don’t get frustrated. Some people are jumping to distros that I’ve never heard of and getting annoyed it’s not windows. Like yea no kidding Justin Bieber OS isn’t getting updates. And your 3k series Nvidia isn’t working. Switch to Hanna Montana DE like the rest of us.
- Comment on YouTube says it will show fewer mid-roll ads that it thinks will interrupt sentences or action sequences, and more at “natural break points” like pauses or transitions. 2 months ago:
This is exactly what I do with Samsung. Now what I need is a mute tab option.

Possibly if you destroy your deck but the mobo survives

Windows vista and 7 were peak start menu.

Since the first steam machine in 2008 it’s all I’ve ever wanted…

What game is that?
- Comment on Steam drops Windows 7 and 8 support with the latest client — users told to ‘update to a more recent version of Windows’ to continue gaming 6 months ago:
I’ve been waiting since the first Steam Machines in 2011 to get steamOs. Best I can do is big picture mode.

I’ve got goofy Intel/NVIDIA switchable graphics in my laptop that make it a pain in the ass to use my VMs and steam. But I wouldn’t trade Mint for windows ever.
- Comment on Microsoft just delayed Recall again 6 months ago:
Hmmm. That’s a shame, I need the functionality of lite gaming. Like some halo 1, RTC, FTL.
I really like their hardware.
- Comment on Microsoft just delayed Recall again 6 months ago:
Yes so same ideals on my end. I want to like OSx but there’s just something…empty about it.
- Comment on Microsoft just delayed Recall again 6 months ago:
Not sure why I got downvoted for asking a genuine question…
So my latest testing was Catalina. But I didn’t give it an honest go as it was a work laptop for emails.
My last serious romp was 10.6.8, I looved 10.6.8 on the white plastic MacBook I had. I wish I could go back to that form factor.
What is gaming like on mac now adays?
- Comment on Microsoft just delayed Recall again 6 months ago:
I’m asking this genuinely because I want to like apple. What do you do that you can’t on Linux or Windows? I love their hardware, I just don’t see a need for the software. (I want a MacBook air with Linux mint very badly)
- Comment on Can’t upgrade your PC to Windows 11? Buy a new one, is Microsoft’s laughable solution 7 months ago:
Just run windows 3.1 dual booted with Linux mint. Easily the most rational decision.

Lol Im not sure I ever saw those.
- Comment on The Plucky Squire recently came out, and used the Steam Deck to represent PC 8 months ago:
Why are half of the comments in this thread talking about how the steamdeck isn’t a computer? What the fuck are you all on about? Do you just need to be contrarian to be different? It’s a fucking full computer, like has all the parts and functions a computer has…
- Comment on The Plucky Squire recently came out, and used the Steam Deck to represent PC 8 months ago:
I wrote a huge argumentative piece to that guy and then snapped out of it and deleted it all. It’s not worth it.

What does your whole compass look like for you? Cause Nintendo needs to be auth-left. And I’m assuming lib left for steam, and Xbox takes lib right.

Um…how are you going to get the rare diamond of Jesus to take back to the wizard who will fix your boat with a hole in it to continue on your quest to find who can tell you who killed you brother???
Horizon zero dawns story was good. I’d say armored core 6 isn’t a bad pick up and put down game since missions are kinda short. But mobile games are usually the easiest to access.

Yea, I’m prepared for downvoted but this is why mobile games are so popular. That, a few good sessions of black ops 2/3 zombies. And I’m good. My kids do the fortnite thing.
