in January, the New Delhi-based firm called for the regulation or blocking of Proton Mail in India, as the email service reportedly refused to share details about the sender of the allegedly offensive emails, despite a police complaint.
this has nothing to do with encryption services offered by proton. any email provider could fall into this pitfall.

can i keep it forever on “aeroplane mode” or whatever and use it as a dumb tv? can i never connect it to the internet if that’s what i want?

fwiw, their official channel has uploaded 17 series of TMUK on youtube to date. along with all the three CoCs as well as numerous new year special one-offs, 2 series of TMNZ with the 3rd being released weekly, 1 series of TMAU, and full series of some scandinavian taskmasters.
