- Comment on Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 director "really proud" the gay romance he pushed for, which is somehow totally different to "woke" games' representation, is up for awards 4 days ago:
Honestly from what I understand about people I know in real life, as well as what I see online, woke equals defining the behavior.
So say your character is gay, has a gay lover, and whose story is rather inseparable from their sexuality. That’s fine in the eyes of most Facebook-propagandized anti-Wokers.
But if you say the word gay, if you verbally acknowledge sexuality, if you have your character come out, that’s woke.
For example, Blaire White. She may have backed herself into a corner of misery by only associating with conservatives, but look at how far she got by just not acknowledging gender. Almost everyone she’s around genders her properly.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Kamiya blocked Capcom for that response.
- Comment on Edmund McMillen on assembling Mewgenics' meow cameo list: "the inclusion of people with clashing ideologies felt appropriate" 2 months ago:
I guess he’s just having to justify it because all these people are so vocal about their opinions.
This is just a who’s who of historic internet personalities, for better or for worse. I bet he even tried to get Joji given the fact that the rest of the 2016 edgelord squad is representing.
- Comment on Fable's evil landlords won't grow devil horns, as reboot ditches classic character morphing due to a lack of belief in objective arseholery 2 months ago:
Yeahhhh… no.
There are plenty of series about grey morality, and Fable isn’t one of them. Fable is the game where you save the world in a grand adventure then go fart in a villager’s face and kill him so you can rent out his house. Nothing wrong with that, and I think that sticking by the morality system would really help differentiate this new Fable from other Fantasy RPGs coming out!

Because if you’re around frogs you might get lept on? Genius.

Actually though. Call of Duty is just Fortnite now. I miss when those guns were licensed from the manufacturers and modeled with care.
- Comment on Leaked image suggests the next Battlefield game will be called Battlefield 6 - and the reveal event is coming very soon 8 months ago:
Almost anything with 6 at the end of the title feels tedious at this point.
Make a trilogy, and then follow the public’s opinion after that. If people are trashing your new games, it’s time to stop.
I guess some people will buy anything though.

This was like the only thing they were doing I cared about other than Outer Worlds 2.
- Comment on What emulated games hold up in 2025? 9 months ago:
I don’t know if you played it, but there was a totally different Game Boy Sunsoft Batman game. Also very good, and it has one of the kickinest soundtracks of wny GB game I owned!
- Comment on What emulated games hold up in 2025? 9 months ago:
Batman the Video Game is a sick cut. Sunsoft was doing some good shit.
- Comment on What emulated games hold up in 2025? 9 months ago:
Great console. Never going to recommend it to an emulation beginner. Honestly, it was a stretch to even recommend N64 games. Emulation for those are all wack as well.

A lot of PS2 games have busted PC ports or ports with invasive EULAs. PS2 is still probably the best way to play GTA: San Andreas.
But really, just pick a console with a graphical aesthetic you like and find the games people buzz about. I’ll give you some recommendations, based mainly on my taste, but a quick “(console) best games” search can help you expand upon this.
NES: Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out, Super Mario Bros 3, Kirby’s Adventure, Castlevania,
Genesis/Mega Drive: Streets of Rage 2, Castlevania: Bloodlines, Road Rash, Sonic 2
SNES: NBA Jam: Championship Edition, Mega Man X, Star Fox 2
PS1: Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, Crash Team Racing, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, Metal Gear Solid
N64: Super Mario 64, Star Fox 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Mario Kart 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Dreamcast: Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, SoulCalibur
PS2: GTA San Andreas, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3, Tony Hawk’s Underground 2, Resident Evil 4, Silent Hill 2, Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3, Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II, Sly Cooper (entire series)
GameCube: Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart Double Dash, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Super Smash Bros Melee, SoulCalibur II
Xbox: Halo, Halo 2, Fable: The Lost Chapters
That’s a decent start, but not comprehensive by any means. Just pick a console with games you like the look of and search the top-rated games, the cream really rises to the top when you’re looking for retro games.
- Comment on The Wipeout-like racer BallisticNG gets Steam Deck Verified 1 year ago:
It’s extremely good. It feels like it was created by fans of all the high-speed racers (F-Zero, wipEout, Extreme G, Star Wars Episode I Podracer, etc), but it’s also very much its own game. Not exactly a 1:1 replication of Extreme G, especially with its focus on four-“wheeled” vehicles (it also has hover options), but it’s probably as close as you’re going to get nowadays.
