What QT software pulls KDE dependencies? AFAIK, only KDE software requires KDE dependencies. There might be a couple of exceptions but it’s certainly not most QT apps. There’s a lot of software you wouldn’t even know uses QT like PCSX2, Skype, or DaVinci Resolve.

I used to think I didn’t have a use case for one either but you know how sitting at your desk takes slightly more than zero effort? Well, that tiny amount of effort made it so whenever I actually sat my ass down, I would end up only playing “heavy” games like Skyrim while ignoring stuff like Bastion, Cuphead, Hollow Night, the LEGO Games, Pacman World, etc. Like, I’m not gonna drag my ass to my office to play Thimbleweed Park. Having a handheld got rid of that mental block and I’ve finally finished several games I otherwise wouldn’t have, like pretty much anything that needs to be emulated. I even started buying games specifically because I wanted to play them on it.

Just a little note: Seems like you’re conflating QT apps with KDE apps. KTorrent, Amarok, Elisa, etc will pull half of KDE with them, transmission-qt, qbittorrent, strawberry, clementine and VLC won’t.

To each their own, but I think the one is better in every way (while still lacking basic functionality).

You’re welcome. Just keep in mind that removing recall from the W11 iso apparently also reverts Explorer to the W10 version.

DISM /Online /Disable-Feature /FeatureName:Recall
Run that from an administrator terminal (right click start menu and select Terminal (Administrator)). You can also do it from Settings > Privacy > Recall.
Those are the Microsoft-approved ways. If you don’t trust them, you can also just download a new iso and completely rip it off before install using something like ChrisTitus’ microWin.

You receive a call from an unknown number and they tell you they’ve kidnapped your wife. They then give her the phone so you can hear her but she didn’t do it through Signal so she’s obviously not your wife so you just hang up.
