- Comment on Green Party: The two-party system is failing us. Trump escalates nuclear threats against Iran, Dems leadership refuses to take action. 2 weeks ago:
What would that accomplish? At least in terms of electing a 3rd party president, that is? Without a single representative in Congress or the Senate, how would they get their legislative agenda passed? Electing a 3rd party as president, would result in a lame duck administration. Whoever actually controlled Congress would simply ignore the wishes of the president, and enact their own legislation…and the president would have no power to do anything but veto all of it. Literally nothing would get done for the next 4 years. How does that prove to the public that 3rd parties are even effective? If anything, it would prove the opposite.
If a 3rd party wants to even have a chance, they need to fill more seats starting at the bottom, and work their way up to the highest office…not start at the top, and work their way down.
This isn’t even a matter of principle, either. Without 3rd party support at the state level, there’s no guarantee that they’ll be given fair treatment in local elections. All the shenanigans that the two main parties get up to, to keep 3rd party candidates out of the race, are because those elections are controlled by the two main parties at the State level. Until there are more 3rd party representatives in State legislatures, they will always be locked out of certain races.

Whelp. I guess all we can do is make sure Trump wins then, amiright folks? I mean, if you gotta pick one, you may as well make sure as many people as possible get killed.

No. I’m saying he put Trump into office so that he could be used to do whatever most benefits himself and Russia. You know that when you cultivate an asset and put them in a position of power, it isn’t necessarily with a specific objective in mind, right? You put them in that position so that no matter what happens, you have someone there to steer things in your favor. Putting Trump in office just conveniently opens all kinds of doors.
Whether Trump attacking Iran was just a happy coincidence, or Putin actually suggested it in order to destabilize the oil markets…the outcome is, Putin is definitely getting his money’s worth out of Trump being President. No matter what Trump does, it always somehow benefits Russia in the end. That’s what I’m saying.

Are you serious? Which part doesn’t make sense to you? The part where Trump is predictably escalating things with Iran…or the part where Putin helped put him in office in the first place?
- Comment on Trump eases Russian oil sanctions as Iran war sends prices spiking 1 month ago:
He didn’t have to. He just needed to put Trump in charge of the US.

Putin is obviously playing 5-D chess here, while Trump is still trying to figure out checkers.

At this rate, Trump will have completely eliminated the US national debt altogether, in just two years. He’s obviously the greatest president in history, and people shouldn’t make fun of him anymore. Right, guys?
- Comment on Jill Stein: American politician and physician 5 months ago:
And where is she now, after running such a successful campaign to get Trump elected? I thought the whole point in helping him win, was so that she could “negotiate” with him on behalf of the Palestinians.
How’s that going?

How do you “win” a tech / investment bubble? Is it a race to see whose economy implodes first?

This is exactly why people stopped using cable television services, in favor of streaming. It seems we need another transition away from commercials, once again.

Ummm…you mean like providing them with a credit card in order to pay for the VPN service? Does anyone actually trust “free” VPNs to not sell your data?

It is such a stupid thing for Twitter to “deny” this is happening. Of course it’s happening. Everyone knows it’s happening. The problem lies with, what are they expecting Twitter to DO about it? Ban anyone who posts anti-establishment or non-conforming content?
What twitter should be doing, is banning any and all bot users from the platform. This would solve the majority of the problem. No bot armies…no artificially amplified narratives.
Will twitter do this? Fuck no. That’s why Twitter sucks. France should just ban the whole platform, if they want the interference to stop.
