But revenue doesn’t equal player size. How much are they making by selling trainer data? How much of that is from trainers buying ingame items?
I bet it’s still really big in Japan, but here in th US in 2026, you’d be hard pressed to find players still.
- Comment on The CIA, NSA and Pokémon Go (2016) 1 week ago:
Yup!
Back then we knew it tracked stuff but didn’t think it would aid in drones or Covid.
Pokemon Go was pretty dead in the US before Covid, which got some players back for a short bit. Now I think I might know 1 person that still plays, maybe.
Pokemon Go is long dead so I don’t know why these journalists keep lecturing us.
- Comment on GOG apologizes for emailing people Nazi symbols 2 weeks ago:
I mean I see what they were trying to do. The kolovrat has a lot of controversy that it’s debated to be a modern symbol of neo slavic pegans. Not so much a neo nazi symbol, but a lof work that the creator of the kolovrat has faked a ton of historical slavic pegan records so take it as you will

- Comment on Starfield is a game people were "just not ready" for and it'll still come good at some point, reckons Fallout 4 composer 3 months ago:
I really enjoyed Starfield. Just like all Bethesda games, the main story line was weak. The side quests in Neon was really cool (love that city). I got decently far in the main storyline, but got burned out quick. Fighting Space pirates are always fun.
I did enjoy all the cool scifi easter eggs.
I tried discovering all the planets/moons but after hitting 500+ (I havent played it in over a year now) they are pretty much the same. The wildlife is all the same, just repainted/renamed (I get it can’t be feasible to make new models every galaxy).
I get they were going with realism with majority of the planets and moons were empty and just had a couple things to scan.
I think Starfield was decent, not top tier like they want, but I think a few solid patches and good improvements could make players come back around. Idk I enjoy unique games and this was one.

Not even worth it anymore. You can buy old used corperate PC or mini PC for around $100.

I do miss it. I was so cool playing the 3 PMC groups against each other in that game mode. I also ejoyed being about to “prestige” into the other PMC groups. Such a good game
- Comment on Is 128 players too much for a multiplayer FPS? Yes, says Battlefield 6 9 months ago:
If you have a bad game, it’ll still be a bad game with more players.
When games before it were really popular and did well with the same or more players, it’s a BF 6 issue. MAG (256 PS3 only), Joint Operations Typhoon Riisng/Escelation (150 on vanillia and 300 with IC mod), or more recenty: Arma Reforger (128) all have done really well and solid games too.

Yeah I’m holding off until it’s like 50% off. I watch a few playthroughs and it just bugs me how the characters looked compared to the original. I just feel like it lost the charm the original had, just shiny graphics

That’s cool, but I’m not buying Delta full price. I have already bought MGS3 4 times
