Yes I said that. I am glad it works for you I haven’t used it for Apply TV but I do use it from my phone, and on my Deck to play Windows games that are incompatible.
Works great for both

Well Call of Duty is their Number 1 most successful marketing campaign so that is pretty common.
Doh! You mean when they did this

Hmm looked like he did change his format. That is pleasantly surprising.
That was the number one reason I stopped watching. Every video required way too much investment.

The price for everything went up. That “mix spec” PC you were going to build? That went up by the same amount, if not more by the time this is all over

We feel that they are happy they already have a gaming rig.
RIP to anyone who bought a home after 2019 and anyone who bought anything gaming after Rampocalypse

Wasn’t willing to
It’s piterally a PC. IT departments all over the world would have absolutely no problem taking this hardware, and using it for their open office hell. Steam would get absolutely zero dollars, they need the hardware to stand on its own

Truly a first for Gamers Nexus!

💯
- Comment on Steam machine prices are live 2 weeks ago:
$71 is honestly not that much of a premium once you consider your time putting this together, setting it up, and then constantly having to update becomes your problem
- Comment on Steam machine prices are live 2 weeks ago:
You also save 9 months of waiting on the pre-order list but that’s not a good reason.

This is for people who don’t have a nice and powerful desktop.
They didn’t stop development of the link explicitly for people like you?
- Comment on Valve is so behind on Steam Controller orders that some won’t ship until 2027 2 weeks ago:
Hmm okay you’ve given me a lot to think about. Thank you for this. I really appreciate the honesty

I doubt they are earning as much as you think.
They jam packed it full of shit that nobody needs like capacitive Joysticks, and capacitive touchpads on the bottom.

Can the Vader 5 Pro just use Steam Input? I thought there was an “Allow Third Party Apps to take over” setting.
I was looking at one of those but not having Steam Input would be a deal breaker.

You can sell out a loot of units in 30 minutes…

Almost every third party controller these days uses Hall effect or TMR.
It’s hyped because it’s sTeAm and scalpers.
I sweat they do this limited inventory on purpose for the news coverage

Did everyone get a confirmation email?
I didn’t get any confirmation
- Comment on Valve is so behind on Steam Controller orders that some won’t ship until 2027 3 weeks ago:
If it helps. That is the “earliest estimate”
Pretty sure, every controller they have is going to go out with the Frame or the Machine from now til then. Need to justify the (almost guaranteed) $1000+ MSRP.
- Comment on Steam Deck back in stock, with higher pricing 1 month ago:
Yes but then what will he drive?
Because the other used cars have also gained value?
- Comment on Denuvo has been broken, company promises countermeasures against new DRM bypasses — zero-day game releases become norm as security concerns mount over hypervisor-based bypass 3 months ago:
They could offload so much of the processing to remote servers that you would basically be playing a cloud game, and that would be the end of bypassing and removal of DRM because they would control the hardware.
Inb4 someone says “Well I won’t buy it then” realizing nobody gives a fuck. Other people will.

How do you connect the controllers?
I tried my Xbox wireless adapter but it doesn’t work

Steam + X opens the onscreen keyboard. Hope that helps

Obligatory it doesn’t “know” what anything looks like.

Why?
What is the difference between a phone based operating system, and a Steam deck you jam a Cellular antenna into?

Here’s an idea.
Just rename it to " Steam"
