Hmm okay you’ve given me a lot to think about. Thank you for this. I really appreciate the honesty

That’s a good idea. I can do that. Thanks

I doubt they are earning as much as you think.
They jam packed it full of shit that nobody needs like capacitive Joysticks, and capacitive touchpads on the bottom.

Can the Vader 5 Pro just use Steam Input? I thought there was an “Allow Third Party Apps to take over” setting.
I was looking at one of those but not having Steam Input would be a deal breaker.

You can sell out a loot of units in 30 minutes…

Almost every third party controller these days uses Hall effect or TMR.
It’s hyped because it’s sTeAm and scalpers.
I sweat they do this limited inventory on purpose for the news coverage

Did everyone get a confirmation email?
I didn’t get any confirmation
- Comment on Valve is so behind on Steam Controller orders that some won’t ship until 2027 3 days ago:
If it helps. That is the “earliest estimate”
Pretty sure, every controller they have is going to go out with the Frame or the Machine from now til then. Need to justify the (almost guaranteed) $1000+ MSRP.
- Comment on Steam Deck back in stock, with higher pricing 3 weeks ago:
Yes but then what will he drive?
Because the other used cars have also gained value?
- Comment on Denuvo has been broken, company promises countermeasures against new DRM bypasses — zero-day game releases become norm as security concerns mount over hypervisor-based bypass 2 months ago:
They could offload so much of the processing to remote servers that you would basically be playing a cloud game, and that would be the end of bypassing and removal of DRM because they would control the hardware.
Inb4 someone says “Well I won’t buy it then” realizing nobody gives a fuck. Other people will.
- Comment on Setup 3 months ago:
How do you connect the controllers?
I tried my Xbox wireless adapter but it doesn’t work
- Comment on Setup 3 months ago:
Steam + X opens the onscreen keyboard. Hope that helps
- Comment on Amazon discovered a 'high volume' of CSAM in its AI training data but isn't saying where it came from 4 months ago:
Obligatory it doesn’t “know” what anything looks like.
- Comment on Steam Deck lead reveals Valve is funding ARM compatibility of Windows games “to expand PC gaming” and release “ultraportables” in the future 6 months ago:
Why?
What is the difference between a phone based operating system, and a Steam deck you jam a Cellular antenna into?
- Comment on [Meta] This community has been renamed to Steam Hardware to include the newly annouced Steam Machine and Steam Frame 6 months ago:
Here’s an idea.
Just rename it to " Steam"
- Comment on Steam Machine 7 months ago:
Trust me they are improving proton all on their own. Proton let’s them sell games. That is how they make money
- Comment on Steam Machine 7 months ago:
I, for one, can’t wait for the limited edition companion cube edition to get released exactly 30 days after I have my steam machine delivered.
- Comment on Steam Machine 7 months ago:
Is it less resources though? At that level to buy consumer grade?
I mean you can literally build your own steam machine with that. You can install the os into any PC. That’s the ultimate goal I imagine.
- Comment on Steam Machine 7 months ago:
An extra 8gb wouldn’t have killed the profit margins.
I see you haven’t checked ram prices lately…

I want to add that the Hooters girl can very easily see when it has gone too far, and can call it off when they want to.
The people you’re talking about keep amping up their para social relationship until there is no literal way for them to not snap when they come back to reality When they realize how much money, and their literal lifespan being used.

You can just download MXC on your own. It’s free…

Host it yourself and you can loop it on your own TV 24/7.
You won’t even be affected when AWS goes down again…

Did using the buzzword help at all with shareholders or customers though?
It has helped a LOT with the stock price. With customers? Not even a little. We work with high end clients, customized solutions for every client. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that 100% of our clients have asked for us to remove the AI features.
Don’t even need to build them sometimes IMO
LMAO so AI is just an IF statement.

Predict
Can already confirm they are doing that.
The executives are building dog shit unrealizable tools right now that nobody uses. It’s purely for the stock holders.
We marked ourselves as “AI powered” . Nobody is using our AI tools after they go live. We can see the logs.
