i dont care about all that data stuff. i just want the game to be on quest. for the quest 2 they had the excuse of “ohhh its not powerfull enough” but they could 100% do it with the quest 3 im sure

yeah and that pisses me off. well not the people not buying the hardware but the developers. i would LOVE to play Hotdogs And handgrenades but untill i get the frame i cant as the devs of that game has clearly said “we will not be porting our game to any meta owned platform”.

thats actually a great point 😆 . the difference with vr is that the games have to have a good frame rate, as unlike on the deck, you will get sick because of the fps.

teh quest 2 sold 20 mill units (most of the 20 12 year olds yes) but still! maybe the frame can sell 25 mil

yeah i expected that. i expect just like the steam deck, companies will optimize their game to be “Steam Frame Verified” or something like that.

i can see it handling vrchat or possibly even bonelab fine. possibly half life alyx? i assume valve will make a version specifically for the frame

ok so by your bloody metric, i just wasted a christmas (parents didn’t get my anything so that i could get a bigger present next year on my birthday) so i can get a glorified vr version of a PlayStation portal. is this correct?

they said the frame will be under the price of the valve index. either they mean the headset itself (500$ or so) or everything needed to run the headset (1000 or so)

i heard the quest 3s isnt that good compared to the 3. no headphone jack is a huge loss for me unless the bluetooth latency problem is fixed

honestly, we wouldnt be having this conversation if the controler replacemants where cheap (which they are not) so i figure whats the point of getting replacement controllers when i can just get like uhhhhhhh a completely new headset

they advertise the fact that it can run half life alyx natively tho

Are you sure? It’s 3 times more powerful than the quest 3, and the quest 3 can do some cool stuff

yeahhhh. i hope the controllers wont beak as easily as my quest ones. my controllers have the opposite of stick drift where until i push it rlly hard, the sticks wont input, if they even input. also they like to force my chaarcter backward when im pushing forward on my stick so yeah. movement based games aint that good on my quest anymore.
