Yeah using the GPS band for comms is a thing. Or if you’re an adversary you can transmit comms on the same band but more powerful to block GPS signals which is exactly what one nation in particular has been doing.

They’re very welcome here in Africa, a lot of people are still operating with button phones that have no smartphone capabilities and most definitely don’t have AI. There’s rural areas where they would be contently contently away from most technological advancement going as far back as they want really. If they dislike electricity then there are definitely places without it.

Yeah disposable vape pens are a massive e-waste. Usually the batteries and electronics are still totally functional. There was a YouTuber making a large rechargeable battery from discharded vape pens although you really need to have the same make and model to pull that off as you need the cells to be mostly identical at to avoid the possibility of it exploding or catching fire. So yeah if you can collect hundreds of the same disposable vape pen you can build yourself a pretty serious battery.
