      Yes but computer chips are also useful for you know… useful things, not just AI.

    They’re very welcome here in Africa, a lot of people are still operating with button phones that have no smartphone capabilities and most definitely don’t have AI. There’s rural areas where they would be contently contently away from most technological advancement going as far back as they want really. If they dislike electricity then there are definitely places without it.

    When everything is optically interconnected, Murphy is contending that you could just have a box full of GPUs in one corner of your data center. You could have memory over in the other corner, and CPUs in another corner.
