It’s on purpose until we are forced to rely on cloud PC and owning our own computers becomes illegal.

I also toyed with the same idea when the RAM and SSD shortage popped up. However, in this specific case, it doesn’t look so — because printed circuit boards go every bloody where, including the braindead terminal-like things you’d need to have to access
someone else’s computer“the cloud”.
