Comment on I've found this article about enrolling as a foreign student, and I'm concerned.
YourWumaoFriend@lemmygrad.ml 2 years agoI'd like to study either computer science or data science, although I would be happy with anything IT related. What I do know, is that these fields are extremely competitive in China so I might look into other possible study fields. Currently I've only been researching anything I could find in Polish which unfortunately isn't much. Also, yes I'm aware of the possibility contacting the CI directly, but the company I've named not only helps you with applying but as I said also provide the learning course as well as getting acquainted with China. What I'm also aware of are the scholarships provided by individual universities, so that may be useful. Currently, I haven't done any direct research into CNC but now I'm going to look into them more so I can possibly plan things out better (or even completely independently of AsianShip).
I'm not really in a big hurry, so I'll spend some more time on that.

Be aware that the deadline for these scholarships is REALLY early, as in December/January. Your best course of action is to assume that the deadline is in October and work towards that.
While computer data/science courses are quite competitive, they do recruit a lot of master's students to work and study in China from abroad. If you're interested in AI then you're golden, albeit said courses are pretty hefty on the math so (e.g. imagine a physics degree comparable to workload).

I've read deadlines can be as late as March, but I wouldn't put my bets on it as you say I'll try applying early. Well, good thing I love math! And looking at AI, I'd probably need to read more about what China is doing about since with living in the Imperial Core I resent any possibility of doing AI development for it. It's just moral and philosophical restrictions I've put on myself, so if AI benefits as many as it can in China and won't tip the Class Struggle in favour of the bourgeoisie I'll gladly take it.
(I hope my hand won't really be forced into it by external factors. I don't like rushed decisions and being in this situation makes me annoyed)
