I mean, you can do that now with a Quest 3, but I’m hoping the Frame will be a less fiddly experience, since that is the intended use case. Meta have gone out of their way to make PC gaming less friendly on their devices.

I fully understand that, and I still hav my gaming pc if I want to boot up intensive games like half life alyx. The primary pain point with the index was when I was using already using the PC it was attached to and someone else wanted to play beatsaber or something else for a quick session.
With the frame you’ll easily be able to move to a different room and play standalone, or move to another gaming pc with a single dongle instead of having to deal with the base stations and headset power, USB, and display connections.
