Aww man, the Ladybird browser founder is a weird little guy? I had hope for that project without knowing much of anything about it.
trevor@lemmy.blahaj.zone 10 hours ago
Don’t worry. Servo is coming along and isn’t headed by a weird guy. Slow and steady wins the race.

[…] “keep the corporate diversity targets in mind” when interviewing potential new hires. […] I knew in my heart this wasn’t wholesome
seeing what exactly landed him on that list, I think that list is pretty worthless.

I don’t see your quote anywhere on that list, what are you on about?
It says:
He posted in support of Charlie Kirk after his assassination,[source] gets triggered by the phrase “punch nazis”,[source] and the idea of using gender-neutral pronouns in documentation.[source] Andreas boosted David Heinemeier Hansson’s tweets on DEI and the white supremacist “white replacement” theory,[source] and expressed solidarity with David’s persecution for his “banal, mainstream” positions, positions which include, for example, the forced expulsion of non-white people from Europe.[source]

Really surprising to see Louis Rossmann on there
chunk6235@piefed.social 7 hours ago
On August 3rd, 2026, Louis posted a video about openly transgender Colorado state representative Brianna Titone, and in the YouTube comments posted a remark explaining his position on transgender issues, which can be paraphrased as “I think transgender women are men but I’m willing to overlook it if we have common cause”.[source].
Louis has been a regular poster on the hate and harassment website Kiwi Farms, posting there from 2023 to the present under the username “larossmann”.
Whelp, guess his channel is getting 86’d from my feed.

And I thought him receiving funding from the Whatsapp billionaire was bad. Him being anywhere near Kiwi Farms and an anti-trans bigot on top of that was not on my bingo card.

One of the Mullvad founders has given significant financial support to right wing groups.
teslasaur@lemmy.world 11 hours ago
Left wing, but who is counting. I think Örebropartiet has gotten flagged as every single extremist group known to man at this point.
Lets just say they are not on speaking terms with the populist right. If anything they are populist left.
ProdigalFrog@slrpnk.net 3 hours ago
They are nationalist racists trying to cloak themselves with populist leftist ideas. This is the leader of that party:
friatider.se/markus-allard-om-andra-generationens…
Remember; the Nazi’s did the same thing by strategically calling their party the National Socialist German Workers’ Party, despite them not being socialist nor a working class party. This was chosen because Socialism was gaining popularity, and thus the Nazi’s thought it would help their chances of getting votes and public support.
Zombie@feddit.uk 9 hours ago
Do you mean like those nationalist socialists that came out of Germany a few years ago?
They spoke of many left wing policies before getting power. I forget, which side of the spectrum are they regarded as now?
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_Party
Compare that with:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Örebro_Party
A huge range of socialist looking policies, but crucially only for “desirables”. Anyone with even a whiff of foreign, poverty, or criminality is an undesirable ripe for exploitation. Particularly in forced labour camps. It’s straight up German Nazism. Socialism for

Nazbols aren’t left wing. Even if you accept the brainrot that is assigning point values to establishing a racial heirarchy vs supporting universal medicine that still makes them centrist at worst.
sidebro@lemmy.zip 10 hours ago
I think you’re right. They are like extremist populists, all over the political spectrum.
TheTechnician27@lemmy.world 10 hours ago
I could keep going.
Just aaaaall over. Impossible to pin down. Can they even be neo-Nazis if they want to checks notes create direct democracy as a populist ploy to seize power by appealing directly to morons, expand free healthcare, and decriminalize cannabis? It really evens out in the end, dunnit?
WolvenSpectre@lemmy.ca 9 hours ago
Actually they are both. They are a populist blend of Communism and Marxist policies and Authoritarian Right Wing Policy and action. And yes they are often labeled with the Tankies moniker.
Maeve@kbin.earth 8 hours ago
So, like a national socialist party. Like the ACP. Where else have we heard that term?
