You don’t need a dedicated phone for this. Most modern Android phones have this capability.

Linux is more open than Android. Hell, you could argue Windows is in its own way. At least you get Admin on Windows and can do whatever you want with it.

Yeah but it will be a Linux VM running within android, being android the primary os monitoring and controlling everything else. I doubt it will be a de-googled android.

I mean, if those “options” fulfill some sort of niche, sure. If this one has one, I don’t see it. It’s not Linux, it’s Android.
