    Their last few released were great, if you take into account the conditions they were made under and the constant EA meddling.

      If the stories are to be believed - and they seem highly plausible - the best parts of Anthem were in the game precisely because of the EA CEO, not due to Bioware. I have a hunch that Bioware winning independence would be much like when Bungie went independent from Activision - an absolute train wreck with no direction.
