  My partner regularly asks when they’ll add a “girlfriend mode” for this reason. She likes having me in bed next to her, but doesn’t love the clicks.

    I have some games where I’ve additionally bound the face buttons to light touches on the trackpad. Joysticks+triggers are usually quiet enough already, so being able to lightly touch the trackpad for quiet inputs makes it pretty quiet.

    Obviously, it can’t be a real fast paced game, but it’s a decent compromise for games that are slower paced.

      Throw some silicone joystick protector rings on your sticks if you haven’t. Makes the joystick almost completely silent even when I slam them against the shell. Just make sure to run through the calibration script so you still have full joystick range after adding them
