From the Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/…/Battlestar_Galactica_(2004_TV_… it seems that the strike interrupted the production of season 4 but not 3.
Which matches my experience. I was with the show up to the end of S3 but then S4 felt meh-ish except for
