That is indeed what happened. I had been a huge fan of the show, even purchasing the DVD sets despite limited entertainment budget. I was so disappointed.

It varies by jurisdiction. That part, I don't agree with. Cops should be required to identify themselves.
Otherwise, he handled her great. I loved the part where she claimed to be a therapist. Oh boy.
On a related note, cops are in fact dangerous, and people like her screaming for help when they're being treated respectfully and calmly is like the boy who cried wolf but for our whole society. Don't scream for help unless you're actually being abused. (Of course, I realize that she doesn't understand that she is in the wrong.)

Ugh, this is my migraine medication. I have to open the little blister packs in advance because they're so hard to open that I often just can't do it if I have a migraine...when I need the medication.
