      Srsly. I know that “vote harder” feels like too little, too late, but we only got to where we’re at now because people like this lady actually did vote harder, for decades. It’s a death of 1000 fascist paper cuts.

    It’s what happens when someone who’s very used to getting whatever they want runs into consequences of their actions. Genuinely think it should be an area of academic study so we Can understand why people get this way and educate kids about what we learn.

      Maybe create an insular environment where visitors on an educational field trip can see them interact in a controlled manner.

      I think people as children never suffered the consequences of their actions and so they are genuinely confused when it catches up to them. I’ll be interested to see how the “gentle parented” generation turns out

    It varies by jurisdiction. That part, I don't agree with. Cops should be required to identify themselves.

    Otherwise, he handled her great. I loved the part where she claimed to be a therapist. Oh boy.

    On a related note, cops are in fact dangerous, and people like her screaming for help when they're being treated respectfully and calmly is like the boy who cried wolf but for our whole society. Don't scream for help unless you're actually being abused. (Of course, I realize that she doesn't understand that she is in the wrong.)
