Comment on Richard Simmons Says He Did Not Give Pauly Shore “Permission” for Biopic
ZeroCool@slrpnk.net 11 months agoI agree, this “movie” is only news because he spoke out on his own behalf which he rarely does.
I get the stunt casting. Pauly Shore would be pretty fitting. But just because there’s an uncanny resemblance doesn’t mean you should built a movie around it. Especially when the subject is very much alive and doesn’t seem particularly interested in the idea.
Beyond Richard Simmons, I don’t think bio-pics should be made about living subjects without their explicit consent at all. It’s ghoulish.

Well, Brendan Fraser just made a very strong comeback. If Pauly Shore needs money it might be time to get started on Encino Man 2.

I actually want to see Pauly Shore take on a dramatic role. Like him facing PTSD from when he was In The Army Now.
