That’s the point. There are plenty of other great games that Dony Durant control, though. How often do people need to get burned before they learn?

This was a bait and switch. There was no obvious information that I would be required to make a PSN account when I started playing over a month ago.

Is it really out of left field when they have you install a rootkit for a game that isn’t competitive?
Idk, maybe I’m just cynical, but bad business decisions are bad business decisions. I’m not surprised by this in the least.

Kernel level anti-cheat while I detest it is common. And it’s only common because people cheat. If 30% of gamers as a whole weren’t cheating in PVP games then we wouldn’t be seeing such stupid enforcement attempts in PVE games
