Could we please just get a HUD-only option??? I don’t want to be a creepy spy. I just want my grocery list and maps without pulling out my phone 😭

But then how would your data be valuable?

I was just looking at some today that don’t have cameras in them, but can connect to your phone for handsfree calls, play music, and translate languages live. No details on whether the translation is local or requires internet connection though.

wrecking cameras should be a right until people learn to not point them at others without a really good reason

I actively hate these. People who wear them I don’t want to be around nor talk to.

Same here. But also from a work point of view they’re a security nightmare. My job involves administering computer based driving theory testing. For people that have trouble reading we have a ‘voice over’ option that’ll read the questions and the four possible answers. Couple a set of these and a mobile phone hidden in their underpants or in the hedge, just the other side of the test lab window and we have a problem. Ones with physical cameras are an easy one. They just cannot test wearing the glasses, prescription or not.
These are different. We only caught one bloke as he was acting suspiciously. Dread to think how many have got through.

These things are gross. No one wants to be filmed by you in public.
