  holy fuck. this is horrible. google is an Advertising company. why would you want an ad company listening to all your conversations?

  let me soapbox a bit… AI is not tje problem. i honestly think companies use the term AI so thats all you focus on. its a tool.

  “google is going to ambiently track your conversations”.

  everything is going to shit and most comments on lemmy are about ai. ai is like trump putting his name on the kenedy center. its a distraction. they created a boogey man for you to focus on.

  focus on palantir, meta’s age bill, flock, tech companies (ai or not) capturing all your data.
